[ ... ] ... if we think it over again, something even better will come to mind, something which brings us closer to a reality which is more our own, to what we experience ( not experience) in this modern Greek country, where (whether we like it or not) we must practise (sometime, in the present times) an architecture which is our architecture (drawn from our roots, from our vitals), and not that which one can stir up, sometimes by travelling and sometimes stretched out at leisure in his armchair, leafing through the many books and journals which hit us on the head like the hail of some tempest ...
